These are the most (and least) expensive properties you can visit in OKC's Spring Parade of Homes

Prices for new homes are fluctuating, but entries in OKC's Spring Parade of Homes range from nearly eight times the national median price, $400,500, at the top to about 60% of it at bottom.

The 79th annual parade is this Friday-Sunday and again April 26-28, organized by the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association. Homes will be open free to the public from noon to 6 p.m. each day "from Edmond to Norman and Yukon to Choctaw." Free parade books with photos and descriptions are available at OnCue Express locations.

The national median price went up and down month to month throughout 2023, fell 3.5% from January to February, the most recent stats available, and at $400,500 is the lowest since 2021, according to the National Association of Home Builders.

Here's the scoop on the most expensive home in the parade, the least expensive, and one in the middle.
