More than 40 vendors expected at Brownstown Expo and Taste Tour

BROWNSTOWN TWP. — Dozens of vendors will attend the Brownstown Expo and Taste Tour, set for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. May 15 at the Brownstown Event Center, 23345 King Road, between Telegraph and Dix Toledo roads.

Admission is free.

"We'll have over 40 vendors, including some of the best restaurants in the Downriver area, giving out free samples of their delicious dishes," said Sue Trussell, Brownstown Downtown Development Authority director. "The local restaurants and caterers pull out all the stops for the Taste Tour, offering attendees some truly amazing dishes."

Among the participants will be: Francesca’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, Princess Grill, Chicken Shack, Biggby Coffee, Mission BBQ, Norman’s Catering, Prestige Banquet Hall, Big Bear Lodge and Pipers.

Other local businesses and nonprofit groups will host booths offering giveaways and prizes. Henry Ford Health of Brownstown Township will offer health screenings.
