When Will Money Heist Season 6 Be Released On Netflix?

After debuting on Netflix in 2017, Money Heist has become a worldwide phenomenon. Across five seasons, we’ve witnessed audacious heists and even more audacious viewerships. So when can we expect Money Heist season 6?

Unfortunately, those waiting for a follow-up to season 5 will be waiting a long time. Currently, there are no plans to produce Money Heist season 6, unlike another popular show in Ahsoka, which has us asking 'will there be an Ahsoka Season 2?'

From its inception, the Spanish-language crime drama was planned as a five-part show, and with the final season concluding neatly in December 2021, Money Heist has officially ended.

That said, there are spin-offs to get invested in. Upcoming prequel, Money Heist: Berlin, will premiere in December 2023. It’ll flesh out the backstory of Andrés de Fonollosa (Pedro Alonso), otherwise known as Berlin, following the popular character before his terminal illness.

In addition, in 2022, Netflix released Money Heist: Korea, which took the heist concept to a new country with a fresh cast of criminals.

Since the format clearly works, we can expect to see more Money Heist spinoffs down the line. As for Money Heist season 6 though, that’s not in Netflix’s plans: the gang has robbed its last bank.
