Australian swimwear label Bond-Eye this week released a collection of bikinis and one-piece suits, designed in collaboration with model Georgia Fowler.

“We have always respected and admired Georgia as a model, a mother and a woman and we are delighted to collaborate together on this limited-edition capsule. Georgia’s relaxed and timeless elegance aligns perfectly with Bond-Eye’s DNA, stylish simplicity and brand ethos,” Bond-Eye’s chief executive officer Steve Philpott said of the inspiration behind working with Fowler, who’s walked the runways of Chanel, Miu Miu and Balmain, and graced myriad magazine covers.

“Growing up at the beach, and living in swim all summer, it was only natural to always dream up my perfect swim styles. It was so exciting to work alongside Bond-Eye and bring this vision to reality. I found Bond-Eye through my first pregnancy; I fell in love with how comfortable their swim was, it was stylish and I loved how it stretched with me as my bump grew,” the model said of the partnership.

The Bond-Eye by Georgia Fowler collection is Fowler’s first-ever swimwear collaboration, and is also her first overall collaboration post-pregnancy. She noted that the collection “deeply intertwines with the evolution of my career and identity today,” and was designed by Fowler and the Bond-Eye team.

She also was inspired by mermaid-like silhouettes for their feminine features and curves, while rooting styles in classic, refined shapes in the brand’s premium, signature Authentic Crinkle fabrication, which is hand-made in Sydney and designed to allow four-way stretch across their uni-sized styles (fits XS to L).

The collection includes seven swimwear silhouettes in five neutral tones with ample texture à la shimmering Lurex knit, soft shimmer crinkles and an exclusive jacquard knit. For instance, the black Guinness one-piece — “perfect for nursing a newborn,” Fowler said — or the sage green Georgia balconette bikini top with cheeky Georgia brief bikini bottom, which she coined a favorite “for fun in the sun.”

The Bond-Eye by Georgia Fowler collaborative collection is available on the brand’s e-commerce, with prices ranging from $95 to $200.
