Mini Dachshund Puppies’ Adorable ‘Songs’ Are Making Everybody Smile

If you are looking for something to brighten up your day, this sweet video is it! Loulou the Mini Dachshund's mom shared a video of a new mama snuggling up with her puppies, and they are all absolutely adorable! She shared the video on May 5th, and I've watched it at least 5 times - I bet you will too!

The video shows the new mom laying on her side surrounded by her puppies. A couple of the puppies are 'singing' the cutest song you've ever heard. Loulou's human jokes in the caption that the song will be on their new album. Make sure your sound is on so that you can hear the puppies singing their newest jam!

I cannot get over how cute Loulou's video is, and I'll admit that it's the best song that I've heard in a long time! I wasn't the only one swooning over the cuteness; people left more than 1,500 comments. @Nikki Boz had my favorite comment, "Why do they kind of sound like the PAC-MAN game noises?!" Some of the other comments made me laugh because everybody knows how the mom was feeling! @Karina got almost 26 thousand likes when she pointed out, "The face of momma so relatable LOL!" @theautismspace laughed, "The open eyes, blank stare from mom; just screaming “omfg kid I need some sleep” #relatable". Another commenter added, "Mama’s over here like, why is this my life?" Having babies is not for the faint of heart!

Do Mini Dachshund's Make Good Pets?

There's no doubt that mini-Dachshunds (AKA wiener dogs) are adorable; they only stand about six inches tall and weigh no more than 11 pounds...they're really mini! My sister has a couple of Dachshunds, and so I know their general temperaments, but do they make good pets? As with every dog breed, there are pros and cons to making one a part of your family. Mini wieners are known to be very loyal and affectionate and grow strong bonds with their humans. Because they are so small, they are perfect for those with small spaces (apartments), looking for a dog that doesn't require a lot of exercise, or for those looking for an indoor dog. They're playful and love long walks and snuggles just the same. They get along well with other pets (except they are not fans of cats) and with children.

On the flip side of the coin, the breed is known to be quite stubborn, so training and housebreaking can be difficult and take longer than with other breeds. They're very vocal, which is a nice way of saying that they love to bark. They're tiny but fierce; they don't realize just how small they are and tend to be bossy and like to be in charge. They are active dogs and if left alone for too long they can get bored which leads to destruction. It's important to have toys and other things to keep them busy. Unfortunately, they do have some health issues and that means they can have some pricey regular vet expenses.

Make sure you do your research when considering a new pet because what is acceptable to your family's lifestyle may not match up with the breed you had in mind. Bringing home a dog without knowing the breed characteristics could lead to a very unhappy dog and family.
