Mike Tyson Reveals the Big Difference Between Jake Paul Fight and Previous Matches

With just two months to go until Mike Tyson and Jake Paul's highly anticipated boxing match, the two fighters are more focused than ever heading into the event. They've been promoting it for quite some time and have both shared inside looks at their intense training sessions in the gym.

Earlier this month, organizers confirmed that the fight would officially be counted on both boxers' professional records, and now, we're learning more about what the actual fight will look like. While it's an official exhibition match, the rules will be a little different, as the rounds will be limited to two minutes instead of the usual three.

"I wanted the shorter rounds because I wanted more action," Tyson explained of the rule change in a recent press conference around the fight, per CinemaBlend. "If we only have two minutes, we'll fight more."

The two fighters will go for a maximum of eight rounds, and Iron Mike doesn't plan on going easy on the YouTuber-turned-pugilist. "Once he’s in that ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it, because it will be," he stated plainly.

Tyson has been talking a big game, and Paul hasn't shied away from meeting that energy.

"My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time," he wrote on social media back in March. "Time to put Iron Mike to sleep."

It all goes down on July 20^th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight will be live-streamed on Netflix.
