Michigan Dog Daycare Showcases Their Pups’ ‘Problems’ and It’s a Hoot

We all have daily struggles we have to deal with, but for some pooches who attend Canine College in Michigan for doggy daycare, their problems are hilarious! The Daycare shared a video in mid-April of some of the dogs they get to see each day and their 'pawblems'. A few of them made me laugh out loud!

There's the dog that doesn't grasp the concept that the water buckets are for drinking out of, not playing in. Another dog is the worst hide and seek player you'll ever find. They even have a passenger princess! Watch and choose which dog has your favorite problem!

They're all so cute! I laughed out loud at Larry who always fights with the cots, and at Cici's cute tongue. Besties Athena and Maggie, described as the two halves of a whole idiot were my favorites! Canine College's fans got a kick out of the video. @Sara laughed, "Tory is the goat of Hide and Seek LOL!" and @Lost as Alice added, "Tory: “if I can’t see them, surely they can’t see me! Ha ha"!!" Another commenter pointed out, "There is not a thought behind Grace’s eyes." And many people were Team Maximus, like @HotMessExpressAdventrues who said, "Same Maximus….same."

Should Take Your Dog to Daycare?

I'm a working paw-rent and since I do work from home, I often feel guilty that my dog is stuck inside, wondering why I'm not paying attention to her, going for long walks, and playing like we do on the weekends. I never considered taking her to daycare, but there are a few reasons that make sense about her going a few times a week.

Since she's still a puppy, one of the biggest benefits of daycare is that your dog learns socialization in a safe environment. My puppy is around a lot of different people, but not really any other dogs or animals. At daycare, they learn how to interact and communicate other dogs. Not only that, they'll also be interacting with humans that they don't know. Does your dog crave attention all day long or get separation anxiety? They'll get lots attention and love at doggy daycare!

Doggy daycare is also a great way to make sure that your dog is getting the exercise that they need, especially if they're home alone all day or have a mom like me that can't give it to her throughout the day. Dogs can run and play with other dogs and burn off energy that they usually have to keep bundled up until you get home.

And here's another benefit that also helps busy pet parents out: many daycares offer on-site grooming services or will work with your fur baby on training and commands.  That's a huge selling point for me! You can find daycares in just about every city and town, though prices will vary based on where you live and the services the daycare provides. I did a quick search and found, "You can expect to pay around $40 a day for doggy daycare in the United States. You may be able to secure a half day for around $30, which gives your dog between 4-5 hours of play." It might be worth it if you're only doing it once or twice a week!
