Michael Bublé Shames a Stranger on Instagram
Michael Bublé, a man whose words are usually sweet and tender, has minced them this time around.
The singer posted a photo of himself to Instagram that his wife, Luisana Lopilato, took while the pair were in Miami. He captioned it with, “There was something about this photo lu took ,that seemed worthy of instagram. #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami#picoftheday #beautifulbum.”
While it seems Bublé was just attempting to make a joke (a bad one at that), it’s still drawn ire from many.
@michaelbuble Did you ask her permission to post that? Would you say what you hashtagged to her face?

@michaelbuble This is disgraceful! You should be ashamed of yourself. Nothing worthy in body shaming! You lost a lot of respect from many

@laurendorphin and why can’t this girl dress the way she goddamn wants at the gym without fear of it ring broadcast to millions?

Bublé did make efforts to compliment her, but as social media has pointed out, that doesn’t give him a right to critique the stranger like that—especially when it reaches a few million people.
