Once upon a time — well, actually yesterday — was the Met Gala 2024. Celebrities, socialites, and many others gathered to fundraise for the Metropolitan Museum of Art AKA The Met. ICYMI, this year’s dress code was “The Garden Of Time” in honor of the exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” There were many cool textures, styles, and looks that were introduced to the red carpet — so many that it's hard to pin down a favorite outfit. Therefore, we made a list of Met Gala 2024 looks that align with each zodiac sign, since every fit has its own essence and energy.

Wisdom Kaye in Robert Wun

Aries have a fiery spark that sets off other zodiacs, which means their power color is red. Like Wisdom Kaye, who flourished in head-to-toe custom Robert Wun, Aries demand recognition for their efforts and always deliver when put to the test. Kaye put his name on the map as a fashion influencer that came to win the red carpet — which is so Aries.

Taurus

Zendaya in Maison Margiela

Zendaya rocked two thematic looks on the Met Gala red carpet, but her first fit from Maison Margiela by John Galliano is most aligned with the Bullish earth sign. With Venus being Taurus’s planetary ruler, green is one of their signature colors because it brings abundance, creativity, and love to the spring sign. All of those good vibes are felt when viewing Zendaya’s show-stopping dress.

Gemini

Nicki Minaj in Marni

Nicki Minaj transformed into a Flower Queen at the Met Gala. Her look was custom-made by Marni’s creative designer, Francesco Risso. And, it is beyond amazing. Being that her yellow dress (the Mercurial color of communication) was the talk of the red carpet, due to its chic versatility, fun energy, and unique 3D style (which adds a duality to the dress) her outfit screams Gemini.

Sabrina Carpenter in Oscar de la Renta

Cancers dream of being swept off in a fairy tale — if not for the happily ever after, but for the outfits. The sign will resonate with Sabrina Carpenter’s frock by the one and only Oscar de la Renta. The Cinderella-esque frock represents the crab’s taste for beauty and elegance. Making a red carpet debut with her boo, Barry Keoghan, didn’t steal her dress’s thunder.

Cardi B in Windowsen

In true Leo form, Cardi B made a lovely scene at the Met Gala (which we all applauded and were in awe over…we still are!). Cardi B proved that you don’t have to wear a vibrant color to turn heads in her outfit by the designer Windowsen. She brought the D-R-A-M-A and flair in the ever expansive black organza dress that rocked the red carpet.

Virgo

Lana Del Rey in Alexander McQueen

Since Virgos believe simplicity goes a long way, this look is their ideal Met Gala look. The hat connects with their earthy nature. Although Virgos are patient most of the time, they can get thorny occasionally — just ask Kim Kardashian! — which is why the headpiece is crucial. Lana Del Rey’s outfit by Alexander McQueen will bring any soft-spoken Virgo out of their shell and more bristly.

Libra

Lil Nas X in Luar

The Luar jumpsuit and jacket worn by Lil Nas X was a red carpet standout at the Met Gala. Even though they play it cool, Libra is an indulgent and decadent zodiac sign, and this outfit is beyond due to the 50,000 Swarovski crystals that sparkle brightly on it. The juxtaposition of crystals and plain fabric panels showcase an equilibrium of spectacular tailoring and brilliance.

Scorpio

Emma Chamberlain in Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gaultier’s ravishing sheer brown gown worn by Emma Chamberlain embraces Scorpio’s moodier sentiments. She described her hauntingly exquisite attire as “decaying” which is a relatable term to the water sign who's known for its transformative, metamorphic, and evocative nature. Scorpio will applaud her mysterious and stunning goth look. Even Morticia Addams would be jealous of Chamberlain‘s spooky, sensual, and rapturous Met Gala attire.

Rita Ora in Marni

In true Sagittarius form, Rita Ora forged her own path to fabulousness at the Met Gala in a Marni dress. Being that Sagittarius is the explorer, philosopher, and intellect of the zodiac, the history associated with this ensemble is a plus, as Ora said that the beads date back to first and second century BC.

Sydney Sweeney in Miu Miu

Capricorns like classic looks with modern elements, which Sydney Sweeney’s Miu Miu powder blue dress accessorized with black latex gloves brought to the red carpet by giving us diva with a hip twist. Her Met Gala fit transcends and blends sweet princess and edgy sophisticated vibes at the same time (especially with the black bob) — aligning Sydney’s look to the aesthetic of the sea-goat.

Aquarius

Kim Kardashian in Maison Margiela

Aquarians have a taste for industrial and distinctive ensembles. Kim Kardasdian brought that energy by wearing a sheer silver-toned Maison Margiela corseted dress by John Galliano to the Gala. By adding a gray sweater, she added to the uniqueness of the outfit, making it an innovative look for the event. Since Aquarius ground-breaking sign, her gown checks all the boxes for the air sign’s ideal look.

Pisces

Janelle Monáe in Vera Wang

The iridescent, opalescent, and holographic Vera Wang dress worn by Janelle Monáe was mystical, ethereal, and enchanting — qualities that describe the mutable water sign Pisces. The mermaid-style gown was beautiful and ethereal, as it radiated with 3D appliqué and had hand-strung crystal beads made from recycled plastic bottles which were made into flowers. The glistening gown is a work of art and pure Piscean glamor.
