Fourteen new celebrity recruits are about to find out what they’re made of when FOX’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test returns for a second season. The challenges they will face are some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process – and the only way out is to quit, by potential injury, or by force from the directing staff.

Season one was sizzling hot in the desert, but season 2 is going to feel that hell has frozen over as the celebrity recruits compete on the icy mountains of New Zealand.

The Directing Staff (DS) agents are Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox and new agent, Jovon “Q” Quarles, an elite team of ex-special forces operatives.

In the first trailer, Billingham declares, “The cold will kill you in minutes,” as Brian Austin Green and JoJo Siwa are put to the test – and JoJo takes a big plunge!

What challenges will the celebrity recruits face in season 2?

The recruits will face harsh winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand where the terrain and freezing temperatures are brutal. The challenges include the ice breaker drill where they will be submerged in a frozen lake to find their body temperature plummeting to near hypothermic levels. They will attempt a treacherous ravine crossing atop a 4700-foot snowcapped mountain peak as well as an emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.

The Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars winner Hannah Brown and two-time Olympic gold medal soccer star Carli Lloyd were crowned the winners out of the 16 celebrity contestants who started the season.
