Taco Bell has always been one of those spots you could head to in a pinch and not break the bank. Unlike some of its fast food competitors, the Tex-Mex restaurant has continued to keep its Cravings Value Menu stocked with multiple items, all for less than $3. And, let’s be honest, there always seems to be a great (or even free) deal available on Taco Bell’s app. But now, Taco Bell is launching a new deal that might just beat them all—on and off the app.

With the new Chicken Cantina Menu only a few weeks old, Taco Bell is inviting its customers to switch up their orders. We know it can be tricky to stray from your usual Crunchwrap Supreme or newly returning Nacho Fries, but for this deal, it’s worth it.

Taco Bell's $5 Taco Discovery Box Deal

Taco Bell is offering a Taco Discovery Box to give the new Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco a go without saying goodbye to old favorites. The box includes a Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, plus two classic offerings, the Crunchy Taco and Doritos Locos Taco, and a medium fountain drink (including the Baja Blast). To make it even better, the entire box of three tacos and a drink is only $5—talk about a steal.

Typically, the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco—a hard shell stuffed with chicken, cheese, and Creamy Jalapeño sauce that’s wrapped in a soft shell and grilled to crisp perfection thanks to the cheese on the outside—will run you $3 on its own. And, the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco Meal, which has two tacos, a drink, and a side of nachos, costs nearly $10. So, three tacos plus a drink for only $5 is probably the best deal on Taco Bell’s entire menu.

The $5 Taco Discovery Box will be available to order in restaurants or online on the site and app. However, there’s a bit of a catch: it’s only available one day a week. And you can probably guess which one.

The Taco Discovery Box is a Tuesday-exclusive, meant to spice up your Taco Tuesday every week. Taco Bell’s Tuesday deal comes on the heels of its sister brand KFC’s announcement, which allows customers to order an eight-piece fried chicken bucket for just $10 every Tuesday. We guess it’s a good thing that many Taco Bell restaurants are also KFCs because then you can partake in both deals at the same time.

Taco Bell’s $5 Taco Discovery Box joins menus on April 23 and will be available every Tuesday through June 4.

So, if you haven’t had a chance to try the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco—or you have and you’ve fallen in love with it—now’s the time to get to Taco Bell for a cheap chance to enjoy.
