McDonald's Secret Dinner Box Is the Best Deal Ever
McDonald's has been in the news lately for increasing the price of menu items like the McChicken and Big Mac. So we were pretty surprised when we saw this viral deal that gets you a ton of food from McDonald's for a true bargain.
The "$12 Dinner Box" deal surfaced on TikTok earlier this week courtesy of user @xolovelei and it's already received over 10 million views.
In the video, @xolovelei pulls up to a McDonald's drive-thru and asks the cashier if they have a "dinner box." The cashier confirms that they do and asks what sauces she'd like with her meal. Note that there's nothing called a dinner box on the McDonald's menu.
Then we're treated to an unboxing of everything included with the dinner, and we have to admit that it reminds us of those magician hats that have a never-ending supply of objects. In the box, there are two cheeseburgers, four small fries, 10-piece chicken McNuggets, two Big Macs, and sauces. No drinks were included.
Before you drive to Mickey D's, here's the part that could be tricky: the dinner box isn't available at all McDonald's locations and the price could vary. Check the price and the items they include before you go.
The comments section of the TikTok is filled with messages from people who either didn't have the box at their local restaurant or the price was close to double what was in the TikTok.
"This dinner box is $22 here in Ohio idk where it’s $12???" one user asked.
"Not available in NYC," another person added.
Other TikTokers pointed out that their local McDonald's has meal bundles, but the contents are different than those in the dinner box in @xolovelei's video.
"In the Bundle Box Las Vegas comes with 2 Big Mac 2 Cheeseburgers 10pc Chix Nuggets 2 Medium Fries $14.99," read one comment.
"Texas has the NFL bundle. 4 cheeseburgers, 4 hot n spicy burgers, 20 piece nuggets, and two large fries for $20," another user said.
