The cutest cooking competition on TV will return to FOX in the not-too-distant future, now that MasterChef Junior has been renewed for a ninth season.
“We can’t wait to reopen the MasterChef kitchen to the next batch of talented junior home cooks hoping to become the next MasterChef Junior,” said Sharon Levy, CEO, Endemol Shine North America.

Returning as host and judge will be Gordon Ramsay, who will once again be joined by chef Aarón Sánchez and author and wellness advocate Daphne Oz. New to the judging panel this season will be Gordon’s daughter Tilly Ramsay, who made a guest appearance on Season 8 for a donut challenge. Tilly’s other credits include presenter of the BAFTA-nominated series Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, runner-up on Celebrity MasterChef Australia Season 2 and author of her cookbook, Tilly's Kitchen Takeover.

After an exciting season of cooking challenges and an episode of restaurant wars, MasterChef Junior revealed its winner: 10-year-old Liya Chu from Scarsdale, N.Y., who won over the judges by treating them to dishes that demonstrated her culture and her family traditions.
