Martha Stewart has earned her icon title.

Let's be real — the lifestyle guru, 82, has done a little bit of everything. She entertains, she cooks, she models, she gardens, she sells pots and pans and that's just scratching the surface.

And now she's part of QVC's Quintessential 50, a collective of women helping the brand celebrate its new era called The Age of Possibility.

The Age of Possibility celebrates women over 50, and Stewart tells PEOPLE that she knows all too well that QVC "has done a very good job of reaching many, many millions of people, but especially women over 50."

She continues, "When QVC came up with this idea, it was just so appropriate to me — look what I've done since I was 50. I started my big business when I was 50. Thirty years later, I am still creating businesses, selling amazing products and writing my 100th book. I'm one of the perfect people for QVC."

Stewart, who has been selling products on QVC for years, fully believes in the phrase the "age of possibility" for the later years in life and would never want a woman to question her abilities simply because of a number. "Be positive. Don't be afraid of anything. Go for it," she offers as advice.

But part of success — at any age — comes down to feeling good about yourself, and Stewart attributes feeling good about yourself to confidence and aging gracefully. And that means taking care of yourself from the inside out (but also being gentle with your skin!).

"My feeling about good looks and about good health is that you have to start early — so 50 is a very good time to start!" she tells PEOPLE. "I try to live a very healthy life. I eat extremely well. I take care of myself. I go to the gym no matter what, four times a week. I take care of my skin very, very well, and everybody can do that. It's not like I spend a fortune on any of that stuff, but I managed to do it because it's going to make a difference and I'm going to live longer and healthier."

Stewart says she doesn't "believe in anti-aging" but believes in doing the things that will help you extend your life in a healthy way. She also points to QVC as a one-stop-shop for everything you need: cosmetic experts, fashionable finds, health and wellness, skin care and more. Plus, much of it comes in at a reasonable price point

"I really sort of practice what I preach," Stewart adds of her love of wellness and advocating for living your best life in your twilight years.

The Q50, which also includes Donna Kelce, Naomi Watts, Patti Labelle, Sherri Shepherd, Sandra Lee, Jennie Garth and so many more, will connect with QVC shoppers to influence programs and products to demonstrate that being over 50 is a time for opportunity — and that you have support. QVC is calling it the "second coming-of-age" in a way that's a celebration rather than a challenge and providing answers in a community of acceptance.

“Across so many industries, ‘women of a certain age’ are often pressured to step back. In reality, this is the time of our lives when our rich experience and maturity best equip us to move forward," says QVC Host Jayne Brown.

"We are here and have a lot to say and do. It feels so empowering to be truly seen and heard at this stage in life. QVC has always been there for our 50+ customers. We celebrate her and we create shopping experiences for her. We have built this community and it’s the reason we are now shining a light on the Age of Possibility. We want to give women 50+ a platform and a voice, creating a place for them where they feel seen and heard. I am honored to be a part of this Q50 collective and together, we will proudly represent women everywhere who are authentically and unapologetically embracing their Age of Possibility.”

Kelce, 71, mom to NFL stars Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, says in her later years in life, she's "most proud of overcoming my fear of being alone over the age of 50."

She continues, "Fears of not being able to live on my own after 23 years of marriage consumed me. It was important that this fear did not control me and the goals and dreams that I had set for myself. I wanted to go out into the national banking community to find out what kind of salary I could command within the marketplace. My options in the state that I lived in, due to my specialized field, were slim. I faced my fears and took a leap of faith in my abilities to be able to overcome this anxiety by moving several states away from my friends and family. I knew and overcame this by building confidence through the workplace and in social gatherings by putting myself in situations that were uncomfortable but necessary to expand my personal growth.”
