Martha Stewart brewed up quite the conversation about acceptable behavior when it comes to enjoying iced coffee.

The 82-year-old partnered with Dunkin' to promote what she believes is proper iced coffee shaking "etiquette."

"Consider this the iced coffee shaker’s official rule book," Stewart captioned the post before including a few relevant hashtags, "#dunkin," "#icedcoffee," "#etiquette," and "#dunkinpartner."

"Shaking your iced coffee? Some say it's okay. Others frown upon it," she begins in the video shared to her Instagram grid on Thursday, Aug. 24. "I say, go with it–as long as you follow the rules."

Titled "Shake Etiquette With Martha Stewart," the clip goes on to equip iced coffee (or latte) drinkers with the proper protocols for all situations.

"If in a lively social gathering," Stewart says while surrounded by her beloved pet peacocks, "shaking your iced coffee loud and proud is perfectly acceptable."

The Martha Stewart Living namesake is then seen sitting in a library near a sleeping cat. "A more intimate setting may call for more discreet shaking," she says in a whisper. "As not to ruffle any feathers."

The video then cuts to a compilation of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl happily shaking her iced coffee in a variety of different environments.

Despite the alluded controversy over how to shake iced coffee, most of the comments seemed to agree with Stewart's suggestions.

"Thank you Martha for always keeping us in the right lane! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻," one Instagram user exclaimed.

"This is THE VIDEO I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED," a second squealed. "Martha gets it."

"This is priceless 😂," another wrote before someone else declared it as "Icon behavior."

Internet personality Tom Hearn, who frequently goes viral for his Ina Garten parodies, quipped, "It’s so iconic that she says 'ruffle any feathers' and it’s a cat."

The promotion looks to have been a marketing success as numerous others added messages similar to, "This is hilarious and makes me want to buy a Dunkin iced coffee."
