Man Shares Why His Pet Squirrel Is Upset With Him and It’s Too Funny

Cats and dogs are not the only pets you could keep. You could also have a parrot, a rat, or a squirrel. Yes, you read that correctly.

Meet the pet squirrel Thumbelina, who is quite vocal, especially when being upset, as her owner captured in this hilarious video, posted on October 25. Let's see why Thumbelina is so upset!

Thumbelina has a lot to say it seems.

Squirrels are naturally vocal creatures, using a variety of sounds to communicate with each other regarding danger, express contentment, or signal distress. They can make a range of noises, including chirps, barks, and chatters.

There is no doubt that Thumbelina is slightly in distress, which she communicates with her owner.

She clearly lets him know that she doesn't like to take a bath, even if it's just once every four months.

As if she were saying, "Don't even talk to me!"

I'd assume squirrels don't bathe that much in their natural habitat, so she may not be used to it just yet.

However, Thumbelina gave up living a "wild life" out on the streets, and now that she's a domesticated pet squirrel, she has to follow human rules, which means if you're itchy and you shed, it's time for a bath.

Look at how cute she looks in this video, all cozy and wrapped up in a towel.

Thumbelina sure lives a good life and is being spoiled by her humans. I'm sure eventually she'll get used to bath time.

I still hope my pit bull will get used to taking a bath as well.
