Mama June has provided a health update on her daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell—and in doing so, she prepared followers for a heartbreaking reality.

On Friday, Dec. 8, Mama June Shannon updated her TikTok and Instagram followers about Annas prognosis, which made a turn for the worse in recent weeks.

"I just want to let y'all know that some things have changed in our lives over the last few weeks that are totally out of our control," the mom-of-four explained in her video. "God has all the faith, has all the cards, but Anna is still with us. But as we are going through this transition, we are asking still for continued prayers for Anna, continued prayers for the family."

The health update came less than a year after Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma cancer in January, TMZ reported. In May, Mama June revealed Anna's cancer was terminal, describing the disease as "very rare and very aggressive" during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"We see all your messages even though we're not responding back to y'all," June continued in her video. "I'm going to sign off. This will be my last message. When that time does come, we will also, as a family, come to y'all on social media because Anna would not have it any [curse] other way."

She ended her message, sharing: "We're spending this time as a family and enjoying our moments and making memories. We love you guys, and we'll see you soon."

Followers flooded the comments sections of Mama June's health update across social media platforms.

One TikTok use wrote, "The whole world is praying for you Anna! Keep on fighting mama 🤍 you are nothing short of a soldier throughout this horrible sickness."

Another TikToker commented, "From our family to yours we will keep Anna lifted in prayers."

On Instagram, one follower wrote, "I’m sorry this is happening, sending prayers for peace and strength and comfort especially for Anna."

Another Instagram user commented, "As a mom, I can’t even imagine your pain or her pain leaving her beautiful family. My heart and prayers are with you all."

Anna appeared on TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras and her sister Alana's spinoff show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on TLC. In addition to Anna and Alana, June has two other daughters, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efrid.
