Wine Down To The Weekend

5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Reitz Home Museum, 112 Chestnut St. in Evansville. Free.

Enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the historic setting of the Reitz Home garden, veranda, and patio. This event will feature live entertainment from Just Us 4.

WNIN Screening: 'The Tuba Thieves'

5:30 p.m., WNIN Tri-State Public Media, 2 Main St. Free.

WNIN is hosting a free screening of "The Tuba Thieves," an unconventional documentary that follows the story of several hard-of-hearing people telling stories about sound and what it means to listen through a unique game of telephone. Attendees must register online.

'How I Learned to Drive'

May 23-26, Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. USI Mallette Studio Theatre, 8600 University Blvd. Tickets are $15.

ETC Underground presents "How I Learned to Drive," which is the story of a woman who is trying to break the cycle and silence surrounding the years of sexual abuse she experienced at the hands of a family member.

Uncorked Series

7 p.m., Copper House, 1430 W. Franklin St. Tickets are $100.

The Evansville Philharmonic presents the Uncorked Series featuring a relaxing evening with a four-course meal, wine-tasting, cash bar and musical experience with the Eykamp String Quartet.

Saturday

Kitty Yoga

8 a.m., River Kitty City Cafe, 226 Main St. Tickets are $20.

Bring your yoga mat to stretch and relax with the kitties of the River Kitty Cat Cafe. Reservations can be made online at riverkittycatcafe.org/reservations.

Evansville Farmers Market

9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 815 John St. Free.

Shop from local vendors, food trucks and join the fun for this weekly market.

Franklin Street Bazaar

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along West Franklin Street. Free. 

This Saturday kicks off the weekly market on the lawn of the EVPL West Branch Library with hundreds of vendors from local farmers and producers to bakers to artists and craftsmen having pop-up shops for visitors to check out local products.

The Evansville Antiques Show

Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Vanderburgh County 4-H Center, 201 E. Boonville-New Harmony Road. Entry is $4 but free for children 8 and under.

This large antique show will feature the works of prominent dealers and experts from all over the Tri-State.

Library Day at Wesselman's

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wesselman Woods, 551 N. Boeke Road. Free.

This family event combines the wonder of literature with the beauty of the great outdoors. Patrons are asked to use their library card to check out nature-themed books and storytime kits from the EVPL Outreach Vehicle. There also will be free activities, and free access to the trails and nature playscape.

Macabre Bazaar

1 p.m. to midnight, Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse, 201 NW 4th St., Suite 104. Tickets range from $20 to $25.

For World Goth Day, this market is where spooky meets chic for unique shopping experiences. This event will feature more than 25 vendors selling unique and spooky items, live performances from DJ Golden Corpse, Shane Pharaoh, Drop Dead Darlings Burlesque Troupe, tarot card readings and more.

PBR Challenger Series

5:30 p.m., Ford Center, 1 SE Martin Luther King Blvd. Tickets range from $25 to $50.

The PBR Challenger Series is returning to Evansville for its first event of the year.

Sunday

Historic Newburgh Inc. Strawberry Social

Noon to 5 p.m., on the road between Old Lock and Dam and Allen Family Amphitheater. Free admission but there is a fee for rides.

This family-friendly event features strawberry shortcakes from the Old Lock and Dam, live entertainment at the amphitheater, rides, games, and activities for kids. On the west side of Old Lock and Dam, there will be a craft market and food booths. Half-pot and raffle tickets will be sold.

Evansville Food Truck Festival

1 to 8 p.m., Bosse Field, 23 Don Mattingly Way. Tickets range from $10 to $60.

Indulge in the area's top 30-plus food trucks and try everything from seafood to desserts. Other parts of the festival include live music, a beer and wine garden, artwork, cornhole and other tailgate games, mobile judging, and a kids zone for the smallest attendees with a petting zoo, pony rides and more. Every truck and booth will offer a $5 food sampling feature.
