INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

H.A.L.O. Chase Your Tail 5K

  • 7-11 a.m. Saturday

  • Sebastian Community Center, 1805 N. Central Ave., Sebastian

  • Join H.A.L.O. in their fight for no-kill animal rescue by walking or running in their 5K along the Indian River Lagoon. Music and entertainment will take place before and after the race, along with an energizing breakfast bar.

  • $35 registration in advance, $40 at the event (four or more people registered at the same time get $5 off)

ST. LUCIE COUNTY

Fort20 Fest

  • 2-11 p.m. Friday, 12-9:15 p.m. Saturday, 1-11 p.m. Sunday (late-night DJ sets until 2 a.m. Friday-Saturday)

  • Sunrise Sands Beach Resort, 110 S. Ocean Drive, Fort Pierce

  • The music festival will take over the entire resort with original music and tribute bands, along with late-night DJ sets and fireside music sessions.

  • $70 plus taxes and fees for 3-day pass, $25 plus taxes and fees for Friday only, $35 plus taxes and fees for Saturday, $25 plus taxes and fees for Sunday, $20 plus taxes and fees for late-night electronic only Friday and Saturday

  • The 13th annual festival includes oysters, seafood dishes, landlubber food, live music and vendors in a pet-friendly environment. Bring canned goods for the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

St. Lucie Earth Day Festival

  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday

  • Oxbow Eco-Center, 5400 N.E. St. James Dr., Port St. Lucie

  • The 20th annual event features eco-art, sustainable living ideas, a silent auction, live music, food vendors and over 70 local organizations sharing hands-on activities through the gardens and trails of the preserve. Rain or shine.

  • Free admission, free parking at Southern Oaks Middle School and Rivers Edge Elementary School with option to walk 10 minutes or take shuttle

MARTIN COUNTY

Earth Day at the Park

  • 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday

  • Jonathan Dickinson State Park, 16450 S.E. Federal Highway, Hobe Sound

  • Celebrate Earth Day with activities, including tree planting, guided hikes, litter pickup and a sunset celebration.

  • $4-$6 state park admission per vehicle, unless attending tree planting and/or litter pickup
