The new shop, which opened May 17, continues Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson’s Casa Loewe concept, blending a refined retail space with the curated charm of an art collector’s home. A lively, rich palette of green, brown and silver ceramic tiles envelop the storefront and interior. Complementary lilac marble accents, oak shelving and concrete floor tiles give the space a raw texture.

The furniture includes bright Utrecht armchairs that sit beside Loewe’s signature iron martini tables and a gently floating Isamu Noguchi Akari light sculpture.

Two bespoke wool rugs feature reproductions of British textile artist John Allen’s pastoral landscape, “White Horse, South Downs.”

Loewe expects bestsellers to be the Flamenco and Puzzle bags. The Flamenco bag, for example, retails for approximately $2,688.

Anderson, who was born in Northern Ireland, has been revving up Loewe since arriving at the creative helm in 2013. His makeover of the Madrid-based heritage brand was deemed “sure-handed and innovative” by WWD. The designer has been known for introducing some dramatic store concepts with artistic elements, and offering exciting accessories and clothing propositions.

Iguatemi São Paulo features such retailers as Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Cartier, Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, Hermès, Polo Ralph Lauren, Rimowa, Saint Laurent and Tod’s.
