Lititz Pretzel Fest returning in May

LITITZ, Pa. (WHTM) – The Lititz Pretzel Fest is back for 2024.

The event will take place on May 4, with the last day to purchase online tickets being May 2. The festival sold out a month early last year and as of Sunday, April 14 there were less than 150 tickets remaining.

The festival celebrates pretzels with special treats for attendees, live music, and alcohol tastings.

There will be over 20 treats this year, many of which are pretzel themed, of course, including:

  • Zesty Lemon Crunch at Zest

  • Pretzel Praline Custard at Brazilian Table

  • Fried Pickle Pretzel bites with sweet Inferno Sauce and a sample of silver Stock Lager at ABC

  • Mexican Chocolate Truffle by Moravian Manor Chef served at Olio

  • Cheese and wine pairing at Savory Gourmet with Waltz Vineyards

  • Caramel Pretzel Brownies at Sweet Legacy

Proceeds from the event benefits the Kiwanis Club. Funds from the event will help sponsor Kiwanis’ Kid’s Free Fun Day in Lititz Spring Park on May 18 and other children’s charities.

The Linden Hall Key Club will also offer $5 pretzel necklaces to benefit the Kiwanis Aktion Club, a branch for special needs adults.

The Lititz Pretzel Fest and the Lititz Chocolate Walk are the main fundraisers for the Kiwanis Club. Kiwanis Club president Jeff Bierbower said that $100,000 was donated to children’s charities this year, with over one million being donated across the club’s 30 years of existence.

“We have a tremendous community of volunteers, businesses and residents that make our town welcoming for these popular events,” said Bierbower.

Pretzel Fest tickets are $35 and can only be purchased at www.lititzpretzelfest.com.
