Lindley art studio to host mental health awareness event
LINDLEY, N.Y. (WETM) – The heART Studio in Lindley will be hosting a pottery event this weekend to raise awareness for mental health.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 18, at the heART Studio located at 10016 Welty Road and will allow participants to relax their minds and make pottery.

The recommended age requirement for the event is those ages 12 and up.
Those who participate in the event can sign up for a 30-minute time slot where they will be guided through making a pot on the wheel. Time slots that are still available are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Free runner’s clinic coming to Horseheads
The event is free to all who are interested in making a pot for the benefit of their mental health, but you can keep what you make at the event for $10 a pot.

The program is brought to the studio by the QuickARTS grant program that is provided by the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and funded by the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc.
