#LifeIWant: Chanel Haute Couture Gems

The Haute Couture shows started in Paris on Sunday and over the next few days, we will not only see the world’s most exclusive fashions in the world, but also the most exquisite jewelry as well. Editors, buyers, and wealthy clients will be filing into Paris to see what rare gems and stones are in store.

Without further ado, please let me present the most recent collection from Chanel Fine Jewelry called “Cafe Society.” It’s a tribute to the ladies of the 1920s and dedicated to audacity and inspired by freedom. These two pieces are aptly called “Morning In Vendôme.” Mademoiselle Chanel loved Place Vendôme so much that the namesake brand has named some of her favorite pieces after the famous octagon space.

These 18-karat white and yellow gold earrings feature two emerald cut yellow diamonds (7.3 carats total in case you are wondering) also have 188 brilliant-cut diamonds, 64 brilliant-cut yellow diamonds, and carved onyx. How’s that for some sparklers?

How does one top these? Why that would be with the matching “Morning in Vendôme” ring of course! This baby has 8.1 carats of emerald-cut (my personal favorite cut) yellow diamonds, 164 brilliant-cut diamonds, 162 brilliant-cut yellow diamonds and carved onyx too.
