In my world, the word luxury and Louis Vuitton go hand in hand, like vodka and tonic, or Grace Kelly and supreme elegance. Louis Vuitton’s Capucines bag debuted in 2013 and has since become one of the brand’s most sought-after bags.
Named after Louis Vuitton’s first store, which opened in 1854 on the Rue des Capucines in Paris, this bag is no doubt a beauty, but when the croc version came along, all bets were off! This exceptional bag comes in teal, which is fabulous, but the red crocodile, the Capucine MM in Rouge Constellation, is my dream accessory! Even the name of the color is divine! The combination of the red, the refined details of the interior, and the gold jewel-like rings on the handle featuring the oh-so-subtle LV initials is enough to give your bank manager a heart attack. Yes, my friend, a beauty like this comes at a price but then again, this is the dream of all dream bags so why not!
