Liberty Lagoon Waterpark to open on weekends in April

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Looking to go somewhere to cool off as the weather starts to get hot?

Liberty Lagoon Waterpark will be open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting on Saturday, April 27. It will be open for weekly operations from May 25 to Aug. 2, according to BREC.

Liberty Lagoon Waterpark has many waterslides for all ages. The park also has a splash pad, lazy river and the Shockwave surfing simulator.

According to BREC, active military and first responders receive a $2 discount when they purchase a ticket at the ticket window.

Liberty Lagoon also offers two season pass options. The Limited Session Pass includes Monday-Thursday admission. The Extreme Season Pass covers Monday-Sunday admission, excluding holidays.

Admission is $12 for guests over the age of one. Children under the age of one get in free, according to BREC. To buy general admission tickets, visit here.
