Lake Farmington to debut Aquapark, The Beach Memorial Day weekend

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – The 2024-2025 season at Lake Farmington starts on Saturday, April 13 with the reopening of the watercraft inspection station. Memorial Day weekend will also mark the grand opening of their Aquapark and beachfront named The Beach.

Lake Farmington will be changing its fee structure this year. While lake access will remain at $1 per person, an additional dollar will be needed to access The Beach.

Elephant Butte Lake State Park to get $1M worth of upgrades

Season passes will cost $50 and will be available for purchase both on-site at the Lake Farmington Pay Station and at the Farmington Museum. Season passes are valid from April 2024 to March 2025 and are good for lake access only.

Admission to the Aquapark will be $5. Aquapark admission will include access to The Beach. More admission is available on the Lake Farmington website.
