Kylie Jenner’s "Rise and Shine” meme may have gone viral, but Yahoo readers are unimpressed

Kylie Jenner’s wake-up song for her daughter blew up the internet this week, and Yahoo readers were, well, unimpressed, to say the least.

The two-second song was the highlight of the 16-minute office tour that Jenner posted to YouTube and consisted of just three words — “rise and shine” — which she sang as she casually strolled into her daughter Stormi’s darkened on-site nursery and turned on the light, all while dressed in a Chanel suit.

Some readers wondered why a mother singing to her baby would be considered notable. But let’s be real, it’s Kylie Jenner, so of course it is.

For others, the issue was Jenner’s overly made-up appearance:

Still others lamented the wasted time they spent even paying attention to the song:

Good call, Don G! As it happens, Jenner is selling “Rise and Shine” sweatshirts on her official website. The limited edition hoodies are on sale today, and you can get yours for only $65.
