Koala Bear Standing Around Waiting for Eucalyptus Leaves Is Making Everybody Smile

Koala bears always make me smile - they're just adorable and I love watching them! But this video of Olaf the koala that @Australian Reptile Park shared at the end of October might be my new favorite animal TikTok of all time!

The video is only about 12 seconds long and shows Olaf standing up on his hind legs looking around. In the caption the park writes, "Olaf the koala, just standing around waiting for a fresh bunch of eucalyptus leaves to arrive". Based on the way he keeps turning his head, he's definitely on the lookout and waiting very patiently for their arrival!

For some reason, it never occurred to me that koala bears could stand up! I guess I always see them in trees and never considered that they'd come down and walk or crawl around. You learn something new every day - I guess I have @Australian Reptile Park to thank for today's new knowledge!

With more than 700 comments, commenters adored Olaf's video as much as I did. @L.C. pointed out, "He's a koala on the ground. He's clearly outside his normal operational guidelines and has zero idea what to do now that he's not in a tree LOL!!!" @MissMarthaMay wondered, "If not friend why friend shaped?"

But wait! It gets better. Not only did we get to see Olaf standing up while waiting for his dinner, but we get to see him eat it, too! In this video, Olaf's back up in his tree happily chomping down on a bunch of eucalyptus leaves. Make sure your sound is on!
