Kittens Comforting Sibling During a Nightmare Couldn’t Be Sweeter

Just like human beings, kittens can also experience fear and distress, especially during their early stages of development. So it's always nice to give a kitty in distress some comfort.

However, oftentimes in the wild, they have to help out one another, as TikToker Dolcevicat shares in their video, posted on October 8, of three kitten siblings giving each other comfort. Let's see for ourselves!

Aw, look at the middle one, caring for the left one, who has a nightmare.

They remind me a lot of humans.

When one kitten notices its sibling in distress, it instinctively tries to comfort and reassure them. This behavior often involves purring, nuzzling, and sometimes even cuddling with the distressed sibling, as shown in the video.

It looks like the one in the middle is the oldest, the left one is the second oldest, and the right one is the youngest, as it is doing its own thing.

Watching kittens show empathy and support for one another confirms the strong social bonds they can develop within a litter. It's a reminder of the caring and affectionate nature of these tiny feline creatures.

This behavior is not only cute but also underscores the importance of social interactions and support among kittens, helping them grow into well-adjusted and emotionally resilient cats.

Hopefully, these three won't get separated at all, or at least not too early!

This would be so sad!

Kittens, just like dogs and humans, can feel various emotions, such as sadness and distress. So it's important to cater to their needs and give them the comfort they seek.
