Katharine McPhee Flaunts Toned Figure in Blue Bikini While Celebrating 40th Birthday

Katharine McPhee was all smiles—and jokes—as she celebrated her 40th birthday by enjoying a day on the water with her husband and a handful of friends.

In a nine-part Instagram post, the American Idol alum showed off several snaps from the time she spent cruising around on a boat as she enjoyed the start of a new decade. In some of the photos, McPhee showed off her toned figure as she posed in a sky-blue bikini. She paired it in some of the images with a straw hat and crocheted white and yellow cover-up, beneath which the bright color of her bikini was still visible.

The “Over It” singer added a few videos to her Instagram carousel, as well. One showed the group enjoying a round of drinks, which McPhee’s husband, David Foster, identified as piña coladas. Another showed McPhee acting out a scene from the 2023 comedy No Hard Feelings in which she discussed her age as being “slightly older” than 29, as actress Jennifer Lawrence had in the film.

One Instagram user praised McPhee and her friends for “nailing that ‘how old are you’ video.”

The “Had It All” songstress continued to make fun of her age in the caption she posted to accompany her Instagram post. “It’s been such a magical week! Thank you all for all the birthday love,” she wrote. “I guess turning 29 isn’t so bad.”

Several of McPhee’s fans joined in on the fun as they wished her a happy birthday and praised her “stunning” looks.

“You look younger than 29!!!” one fan insisted as another wrote, “29…me too!!!”

“I’ve been 29 for years, it’s fabulous,” one Instagram user joked. Another wished McPhee a “happy 29th,” adding, “can you imagine how it’s gonna be when you turn 40, haha.”

Other fans focused their comments on how “stupid hot” McPhee looked as she posed on the boat. One person asked the singer what workouts she tackles to keep her figure toned, adding, “You look amazing.” Others left fire emojis, while one Instagram user joked that being “29” had “never looked better!”
