There’s Now Photo Proof of Kate Middleton and Prince William at the Farm Shop

Original article 5/18/24: Today in *breathes exhausted sigh* Kate Middleton news, it appears as though the Princess of Wales was just spotted near her home in Windsor. And if you’re a “pics or it didn’t happen” kinda person, sorry...no one took a snap of the outing.

But according to The Sun, locals saw Kate looking “happy, relaxed, and healthy” on a visit to a farm shop with Prince William over the weekend, which is noteworthy since—aside from several blurry and much-discussed car photos—this is the first time Kate’s been in public since her surgery on January 16.

“After all the rumours that had been going round, I was stunned to see them there,” an onlooker said of the sighting. “Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well. The kids weren’t with them, but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”

Nice to hear Kate is doing well, but commentators think this recent appearance might only create more confusion.

Royal expert Tom Bower recently dished to the Daily Mail that Kate’s “appearance suggests panic at the Palace,” adding, “Just as last week’s furor has died down, they allowed her to reignite all the questions about her health which should remain private. Her advisors clearly can’t decide what their strategy should be or agree on it with the Wales’s. If they carry on like this—ducking and weaving—it will end badly.”

Meanwhile, biographer Phil Dampier noted people will be wondering why “if [Kate] is well enough to be seen by members of the public then why can’t we be told what is wrong with her?”

Doesn’t seem like the Princess of Wales is in a rush to explain herself, so guess we’ll have to wait and see!
