Jurassic Park: Survival Puts You Inside 1993 Film

If you’ve ever wanted to see how you’d fare in Jurassic Park, now’s your chance. Announced at Thursday’s The Game Awards, Jurassic Park: Survival is a single-player action-adventure game coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In the debut trailer we see a woman dodging dinosaurs in an all-too familiar setting: the island facility from Spielberg’s classic 1993 film. She’s been abandoned, left behind after everyone fled following the mass dinosaur outbreak, and now must fend for herself.

The woman, presumably an employee of dino-making genius John Hammond, visits several iconic locations, including the kitchen where Tim and Lex evaded velociraptors, the dense forrest where Denis Nedry was attacked by a dilophosaurus, and the imposing main gate, where there’s a surprise waiting.

While entirely CGI and offering little indication of what the actual game will look or play like, the premise of playing through your own Jurassic Park experience is packed with potential.
