June Squibb Joins the Cast of Pixar’s Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2 has a release date, new emotions, a first teaser and a new cast mate to join the gang.

The Oscar-nominated actress from Alexander Payne's Nebraska, June Squibb, joins Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira and Maya Hawke in the anticipated Pixar sequel, Variety reports.

Squibb is a Pixar veteran, having voiced characters in Toy Story 4 and Soul.

She has also voiced roles outside the Pixar bubble, including in Ralph Breaks the Internet and Solar Opposites.

The current emotions circulating Riley's mind are Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust and Anxiety. Whether Squibb will voice an emotion or a character outside of Riley is still to be announced.

Kelsey Mann will direct the screenplay from Meg LeFauve, which follows the voices inside Riley's head who know her inside and out. However, everything changes when Anxiety shows up.

Inside Out 2 is in theaters on June 14, 2024.
