Inside Out 2 Release Date Confirmed

Inside Out 2 is full of surprises.

Announced out of nowhere during the D23 Studio Showcase in September 2022, fans of the first film couldn’t believe a sequel was in development - and that it’s farther ahead than anyone could have predicted.

The Inside Out 2 release date is June 14, 2024, meaning it’s just around the corner in Summer. Pixar were working on it in secret for years.

This Summer 2024 release date marks almost nine years since Inside Out came out. Premiering in 2015, it’s set largely in the mind of a young girl called Riley, as her personified emotions grapple with growing up.

Inside Out 2 stars Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black reprising their roles as Joy, Sadness, and Anger.

Meanwhile Tony Hale and Liza Lapira join the case as Fear and Disgust, replacing Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling.

Maya Hawke is new emotion Anxiety, who turns up like clockwork when Riley turns 13. Throw in Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy, and you have a mind full of teenage chaos.
