Join Inspire Napa Valley in Fundraising To Help Combat Alzheimer’s Disease
Wine industry expert Kerrin Laz, founder and proprietor of K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION, brings you the fifth annual Inspire Napa Valley fundraiser, taking place May 3rd-5th. In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, the three-day event in the heart of Napa Valley brings together wine connoisseurs and industry leaders to raise funds and awareness to advance Alzheimer’s and dementia research and enhance care and support services for impacted families. Since 2017, Inspire Napa Valley events have raised more than $6 million for the Alzheimer’s Association’s care, support, and research programs.
“As the wine community, we have the relationships and the platform to raise awareness and funds to help support the work of the Alzheimer's Association," said Inspire Napa Valley founder Kerrin Laz. "We have seen the power of collaboration in the wine industry for so many worthy causes, and I am confident that we can use that same spirit to support this important effort. I am so grateful that my colleagues and our wine clients and guests share my passion and vision and know that together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.”
More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and in California alone there are more than 690,000 people aged 65 and older with the disease. Additionally, more than 11 million people serve as Alzheimer’s caregivers, including more than 1.3 million Californians providing unpaid care to a loved one with the as-yet incurable disease.
All-inclusive VIP tickets to attend the events are $5,000 per person. Individual tickets to Saturday evening’s main wine tasting, dinner and auction are available for $1,000. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit inspirenapavalley.org.
