Johnson's Real Ice Cream marks opening of Italian-Village location with free scoops
For the second time in a month, Johnson's Real Ice Cream is scooping out freebies to celebrate a new location.
This time, you can get free single scoops tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. for the grand opening of the new Johnson's at 869 N. 4th St. in Italian Village.

The fourth-generation ice-cream maker that opened in Bexley 74 years ago is in the midst of an expansion that doubles its retail locations to six. A shop at 1325 Grandview Ave. in Grandview Heights opened March 21. A shop at 20 N. High St. in Canal Winchester is set to open this spring.
Johnson's also has shops in Bexley, Dublin and New Albany, and it's sold in most Giant Eagle supermarkets.
The new Italian Village Johnson's is to be open from noon to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and noon to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
