Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum will scan documents and photos for residents on May 4

COSHOCTON − A community scan day will be offered noon to 3 p.m. May 4 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 N. Whitewoman St.

Register for $5 for a 20-minute time slot to bring up to 25 items (no larger than 11x17 inches) such as old family photos, documents or letters. Museum staff will digitize items, give them back to you and provide a USB flash drive containing copies.

For historical preservation, some selected scans may be chosen by JHM staff and preserved in museum's digital archives. Note that slides will not be accepted during this event due to time constraints.

To register, call 740-622-8710 or visit jhmuseum.org/scan-day.
