Jennifer Garner's favorite foundation comes in stick form, and it's on sale during the Sephora Savings Event

Celebs are used to bright lights and big cameras. Of course, they want to look their best — and they have access to the right people and products to help. That's why I listen closely when they share any of their favorite beauty items. In a video for Vogue, Jennifer Garner said her go-to foundation comes in the form of an easy-to-apply stick. It's also on sale during the Sephora Savings Event.

Garner says that Westman Atelier Vital Skin Full Coverage Foundation and Concealer Stick is her "favorite thing." She's a loyal fan: "I have a couple of them, that is how serious I am. Like if I use it up, I get another one."

Garner applies this foundation sparingly on her face — wherever there's a little redness — and uses a brush to blend it.

Why is this a good deal?

Like many luxury beauty items, Westman Atelier's foundation stick rarely ever gets marked down, so this is kind of a big deal. You can use code YAYSAVE at checkout to get up to 20% off during the Sephora Savings Event. Here's how it works: If you're a Sephora Rouge member, you'll get 20% off. If you're a VIB member, you'll get 15% off. And if you're a Sephora Insider, you'll get 10% off. The sale ends Monday!

Why do I need this?

Finding a good foundation can be tough. You want one that feels light on your face, doesn't look cakey, evens out your skin tone and keeps your skin looking like, well, skin. Westman Atelier's foundation stick offers medium to full coverage with a natural finish and a few good-for-you ingredients. It contains vegetable-derived squalane to prevent moisture loss, phytosphingosine to soothe and calm irritation, and berryflux vita (raspberry cell extract) to boost hydration. Together, these ingredients aim to keep your skin looking plump and feeling moist.

The creamy foundation is available in 21 shades that you can blend with a brush, a sponge or even your fingers. Yes, it's more expensive than a lot of other foundations, but take heart: A little goes a long way.

In addition to Garner, stars including Martha Stewart and Jennifer Aniston are reportedly fans of Westman Atelier. The clean-beauty brand was founded by celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman, who's also worked with Anne Hathaway, Julianne Moore and Nicole Kidman.

"I start by prepping skin with moisturizer and then use fingers to pat [the foundation] into skin, building in areas that need more refinement," Westman writes on her brand's website. She uses a few shades to mimic the tone variations of real skin, and changes up her foundation color depending on the season.

What reviewers say:

This luxe foundation isn't just a celebrity favorite. It has nearly 500 five-star reviews at Sephora.

Pros

"The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, providing just the right amount of coverage for a flawless finish without feeling heavy," said one happy shopper. "What sets it apart is its impressive staying power — it lasts all day, leaving you looking effortlessly radiant. It also doesn’t settle into lines after lightly adding powder to my under-eye area."

Another reviewer agreed that this is a great pick for more mature skin. "It needs to be applied with a light touch because it's very creamy and spreads like a dream without settling into any dry patches or lines. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely!"

"This is the first foundation stick I have ever tried, and I love it," shared a third fan. "I put it on after I moisturize and use an SPF lotion/primer, and it looks glowy and amazing. Wears really well for long work days and doesn’t look cakey or dry at all!"

"Love this foundation stick," wrote a final five-star reviewer. "A little goes a long way! Love the texture and wears beautifully with my oily skin!"

Cons

While this is marketed as a foundation and concealer, it didn't work as both for at least one reviewer. "As a foundation, it’s very beautiful," they explained. "My skin looks so smooth, and the shade is a perfect match! Not to mention it lasts more than eight to 10 hours. But unfortunately, it didn't go well as an under-eye concealer. Maybe it's a me problem, because when I use it on the under eyes, it creases so bad and separates. So I avoid using it in that area."

"The color is spot on and it looks so natural when applied. It's also light and airy and doesn't feel as if it's clogging my pores," said another shopper. "The only thing I'm not a fan of is how difficult it can be to apply because of its thick consistency when applying directly from the tube."

The foundation is buildable, so you can layer on coverage as needed.
