Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Donated $1 Million to Color of Change

The charity is the largest online racial justice organization in the U.S.

Jennifer Aniston just joined a growing list of celebrities stepping up financially in order to make a difference in the Black Lives Matter movement. According to The Mirror, the actress quietly donated $1 million to Color of Change, the largest online racial justice organization in the U.S.

"Like most people, Jen has been deeply affected by what is going on in America and the terrible injustice that people of color experience every day," a source told the outlet about Jen's donation. "She wanted to show her support, and has donated a big sum to the charity she felt resonated with her the most."

The Friends star included the nonprofit's website link on her Instagram page, and fans can show their support by becoming a member or donating to the cause, which aims to "create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America."

Last week, amid the George Floyd protests, Jennifer posted a video of civil rights activist James Baldwin, asking "How much time do you want for your progress?"

She captioned the clip with an impassioned plea to her followers, writing: "This week has been heartbreaking for so many reasons. We need to acknowledge that the racism and brutality in this country has been going on for a long time — and it’s NEVER been okay."

"As allies, who want equality and peace, it’s our responsibility to make noise, to demand justice, to educate ourselves on these issues, and more than anything, to spread love. How much more time are we willing to let pass without change? HOW MUCH MORE TIME?"
