Jayson Tatum can add one more entry to his list of accomplishments. One of the most dominant players in the NBA, the Boston Celtics superstar is already a gold medalist, record-holder for the most points scored in an All-Star game (55), and a face of Jordan Brand since 2019. Now, he's stepping deeper into the fashion world by teaming up with Coach as the New York-based label's new brand ambassador.

This week, Coach unveiled its latest campaign with Tatum as the star. Set against a pastel backdrop of sunset and clouds, he highlights the spring 2024 eyewear and watch offerings while wearing a simple black turtleneck that meshes with his generally subdued sense of style.

"Comfort is key, especially for someone my size," he says. "Growing up, it wasn’t always easy to find clothes that fit. Every year, my style evolves a little bit, but it’s always a reflection of my personality and taste. I'm laid-back, so my fits tend to reflect the same."

"Jayson is an inspiring individual who captures the spirit of confidence and authentic self-expression at the heart of Coach," creative director Stuart Vevers said in a statement announcing the partnership. "I admire his dedication to his community, as well as how he explores and celebrates who he is through his personal style. I look forward to our collaboration and to exploring Coach's fashion language through the lens of his story and style."

In the meantime, fans can keep an eye on Tatum as he and the Celtics round out an impressive season. Eyes will be focused on the court, of course, but also on the tunnel before the action starts. That's something that Tatum celebrates.

"I think style in the NBA has become a symbol for the different parts of our culture," Tatum says. "Regardless of what you wear, it’s something fans pay attention to, especially during pre-game tunnel walks. Of course, players take it seriously, too. I'm glad the league allows guys to express themselves in that way."
