The shelves are made from sturdy and durable metal with a black matte finish that blends into your space with ease. They have raised sides to ensure bottles and containers are securely stored with no risk of sliding out on either side, and thanks to the strong magnets on the back of each rack, there’s no drilling or assembly required. Each rack has a capacity of 11 pounds, and can be stored on the front or side of the refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, or any metal appliance where it’ll stick.
Why I Love the MFTEK Magnetic Spice Rack
The MFTEK Magnetic Spice Rack isn’t my first experience with a magnetic organizer, but when I unboxed the shelves, I was still really impressed. I noticed immediately that they weren’t made from thin and flimsy metal. The shelves felt strong and durable, and each had a wide magnet on the back that I knew would stay in place on the side of my refrigerator. As shown in pictures, the four-piece set came with two medium racks that hold one row of items and two large racks that can hold two rows of items. The larger shelves are also capable of storing containers that are larger in diameter. As far as storage height goes, that was completely in my control since it all depends on how you vertically space out the shelves. That flexibility is extremely helpful since I can adjust the spacing based on what needs to be put away at any given time.
Most importantly, this magnetic rack allowed me to clear out the spice cabinet. One of my pain points was how difficult it was to see what spices were in the cabinet without shuffling items around. Sure, I could have put a lazy Susan in there, but that wouldn’t have totally solved the problem. Now I have an open cabinet for additional kitchen storage, most of my spices are now stored in a whole new location that had never been used before, and I can immediately see which ingredients I have on hand. I only wish I’d thought of making this change sooner. I have no regrets!
