True Ina Garten fans know that the Barefoot Contessa often uses Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware. "I use the Le Creuset #26 Dutch oven more often than everything else," she writes on her website in response to a fan asking for a cookware recommendation. "It's great for soups, stews and braising." While the chef seemingly gravitates toward the brand's neutral Dune color, she might be interested to know that Le Creuset is releasing a new shade for spring, and it's called Sage.

Quick Overview

Sage green home decor has been on trend since early 2023, and it's clearly not going away anytime soon. The Le Creuset Sage collection features a soothing, creamy, slightly graduated green-blue inspired by the beloved multipurpose herb. The soft gold knob on these pieces makes them all the more luxe.

Of course, this color would make the perfect addition to your Easter table, but really, it's a hue you can use all year round. If you're a Le Creuset collector, the brand suggests pairing it with its white or deep green Artichaut pieces.

If you think you've seen Le Creuset in Sage before, you might have. The cookware brand actually released the color in other countries, including Canada and South Africa, back in 2019. But this is the first time the shade will be available for purchase in the U.S. ... which means you can now get Ina's favorite Dutch oven in the crowdpleasing color!

Big enough to feed five hungry diners, this is a great choice for family chow-downs or dinner parties. It's compatible with all cooktops, oven-safe up to 500°F and dishwasher-safe for easy clean-up.
