I’m patiently counting down the days until I get to go on my first-ever Caribbean cruise. We’re still about two months out, but my family has already decided what the dress code and itinerary will be. There’ll be an all-white family dinner, a '70s-themed karaoke night, and a picnic at the beach where we’ll wear all neutral shades. Now that I know what the photo-ops will consist of, I can start packing accordingly. And the first thing going into my suitcase is these Linen Palazzo Pants from Faleave’s on Amazon.

The drawstring pants come in seven colors, including beige, black, brown, yellow, and gray, and sizes range from XS to XL. They’re made from a lightweight, cotton-linen blend and feature a high-rise fit, two spacious front pockets, and a relaxed palazzo design that falls away from the leg.

It’s a no-brainer at this point that I bring my Faleave linen pants on vacation — it’s practically my beachside uniform. I usually try to avoid wearing long pants when the temperature is over 80 degrees, but these pants are super lightweight, don’t scratch or irritate the skin like other linen styles I’ve owned, and have spacious pockets that can fit my larger iPhone. I love that they have an elastic and drawstring waistband so they are easy to get on and off, and they don’t dig into my waist, even after a big lunch. They’re also a bit longer in length, so they sit perfectly over my foot.

I own them in beige and brown, and the shades are true to what's shown online, but I will say with the fabric being lightweight, they can be a bit sheer in direct sunlight. They’re a bit wrinkled when you first take them out of the package, but after washing and line-drying, the set-in creases come right out, and I had no issues with shrinkage. I often wear these breezy pants as a cover-up over my swimsuits. I plan on also picking up a gray pair, so I can give the beige a break ahead of my cruise in June.
