SXSW celebrated its closing night film, The Idea of You, last night and reactions to the film, based on the Robinne Lee novel, are already hitting social media.
The Academy Award-winning Anne Hathaway stars opposite up-and-comer Nicholas Galitzine in this story of a 40-year-old single mom who starts a surprising romance with the 24-year-old lead singer of boyband August Moon.

Hathaway and Galitzine were in attendance for the Red Carpet World Premiere at the prestigious festival, joined by fellow cast and crew members, including the film's director, producer and co-writer Michael Showalter, music supervisor Savan Kotecha, producers Cathy Schulman, Jordana Mollick, and Gabrielle Union as well as stars Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, Raymond Cham Jr. and Meg Millidge.
Early reactions range from "it's a hit" to it being "the movie you expect", but here's a closer look at what first audiences are saying.

The Idea of You has already made waves, becoming the most-watched trailer of any original Amazon streaming feature film, with more than 125 million views.
Audiences still have a while to wait before they can see what all the hype is about, as The Idea of You will be available to stream globally on Prime Video from May 2.
