“Our community is growing rapidly and we have to make decisions that help us fulfill our core mission which is to address the need for more patient services. Some of the decisions are hard, and in this case, we must repurpose the space in the Med Mall Wellness Center for clinical use,” hospital President Tracy Doughty said.

The Medical Mall has served as the hospital’s hub for outpatient services for more than 20 years. The mall’s programs include laboratory, imaging, therapy, pharmacy, Center for Lung Health, pre-registration, and physician offices.

However, even though the exercise and fitness classes will end at the Medical Mall location, Doughty said that existing programs for patients with Parkinson’s disease, as well as nutrition and weight loss programs, will continue.

Existing members will be able to use the other two locations in the area: Jones Valley and Madison.
