"Huge One" – Rider Learns Consequences Of Coming Up Short On Jump

One of the challenges of hitting jumps in the winter is that the dirt can be soft and slow to ride on. It can be easy to come up short jumping

Watch Max Perry front-wheel case the enormous Vanta line at Bike Park Wales below.

In this video, Perry hit a large gap on the extreme Vanta Jump line. Unfortunately, he did not have the speed to clear it and lawn-darted his front wheel into the back of the landing.

As you can see in the graciously included slow-motion replay, Max got splayed over the bars. He broke both wrists in the crash.

Bike Park Wales is a popular riding destination in Southern Wales. The park employed the help of Downhill Pro Laurie Greenland to make the Vanta line, and it properly rips. Watch Brendan Fairclough ride the line below.

As long as you are not scared of a little rain, the UK is known for its year-round riding. Unfortunately, some jump lines do not run great all year.

We at Bikemag send healing vibes to Max. Surely he will be back on the bike shredding in no time.
