Huge Cane Corso’s Annoyance Over Parents Putting up a Baby Gate Is Priceless

Many people who own dogs use baby gates around their homes to keep their dogs in (or out!) of certain areas. Boston is a Cane Corso who is used to having the run of the house, until recently when his humans put up a baby gate. Boston's dad shared a video in mid-March of the dog's reaction to the gate, and it was hilarious!

In the video, Boston is voicing his protests over the gate. He is not at all happy about it and has no problem letting his dad know it. Make sure that your sound is on because you don't want to miss Boston's minute-long tirade!

Boston had a lot to say about the baby gate, and it's clear that he's not a fan of it! Commenters got a kick out of Boston's tirade. @Nat alk laughed, "He said no this is BS man! LOL!!" and @T_Mex added, "He was like….. yes, I’m upset!!"

Facts About Cane Corsi

While Boston might look like a huge mastiff, Cane Corsi (that's the plural form of the term) are actually big babies and known to be quite chatty. Of course it varies by dog, but some bark at everything while others will express themselves with howls, snuffles, and snorts...or a combination of all of them. One of the funny things this breed does is a mix of 'singing' and howling - it creates a “roo-roo” sound that makes everybody laugh!

According to the American Kennel Club, “Cane Corso” approximately translates to “bodyguard dog”" which makes sense because that's what they were bred to do. They like to stay busy, and they thrive on both mental and physical stimulation; if you're looking for a couch potato, this is not the dog for you.

Cane Corso love to be around their family, but this doesn't mean that they like to be around all people. They can be indifferent to people who they don't know. They enjoy spending every minute with their owner and family and thrive on companionship. Not only do they want to be wherever you are, but they also want to be as close to you as possible. My parents have a Cane Corso and she thinks she's a lap dog - imagine having a 150-pound dog trying to hop into your lap! That being said, she's extremely protective and there's no way a stranger would be able to get through the door without permission. Her imposing appearance and terrifying bark are enough to make anybody run the other way!

Dogster.com shared this fun fact: "It may make sense to pronounce Cane Corso like “Kayn Cor-So,” similar to the walking aid. However, since the dog originated in Italy, the correct way to pronounce its name is “Kah-Nay Cor-So.”" I am not to proud to admit that I always say it wrong!
