Hospitals of Providence to host ‘Mammos for Moms’ event

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Hospitals of Providence (THOP) is celebrating Mother’s Day by reminding moms to put their health first.

THOP will be hosting a “Mammos for Moms” event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 3 at THOP Imaging Center West, 601 Sunland Park Dr. and THOP Breast and Women’s Health Center East, 3270 Joe Battle Blvd., Suite 340-B.

The event aims to encourage women to get their mammogram exam and the importance of early detection, according to THOP.

Mammograms are the most effective form of early detection for breast cancer, but early detection is key, according to THOP.

Additionally, THOP Imaging Centers will offer promotional pricing for self-pay patients – $60 breast screenings and $130 3D imaging during mammo event.
