Matt: Newman at Yahoo doing his best to sound reasonable while still being negative on Trump. I like how he selects his stats, like picking the 2014 election under Obama instead of 2010 which is more relevant being two years after Obama's first term. One major point he misses, probably on purpose, is that Americans who did not vote for Trump the first time or did not like his style are now more used to him and some can even see more clearly who and what he is and they are liking it. I think this is true especially for minorities who received a big bonus at work or found better job or a new job after years of trying. I know in the past these people were persuaded to vote for Democrats using claims of racism, rich helping only rich, etc. but that tactic is working less as these people see through the identity politics of the left. Many in the press are dependent on the old status quo so they are fighting hard to stop Trump and his Republicans to save their high paying jobs and easier lifestyle with the left.
