Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds is a fascinating documentary about the visionary game creator with plenty of high-profile guests appearing in it, and you can watch it today. The hour-long documentary is streaming on Disney+, but only for select territories.

The film follows Kojima’s journey from the inception of Kojima Productions after the developer's exit from Konami to the launch of Death Stranding. It is directed by Glen Milner, who also helmed the behind-the-scenes documentaries for The Creator and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Besides Kojima himself, the film also features appearances from various figures in the entertainment industry who have worked with or inspired the man. These include Death Stranding star Norman Reedus, pop band Chvrches, and filmmakers like George Miller, and Guillermo del Toro.

“Our film is a celebration of Death Stranding and video games as an art-form,” said director Glen Milner. “We really wanted to capture Kojima-san's thought process and philosophy behind the game as much as anything. How cultural influences and life experiences play a key role in the themes of his work and his creative outlook, not only for Death Stranding, but also for his own studio.”
